Vision Africa has a long-standing relationship with the orphanage at Uzuakoli where we have endeavored to support the children by helping the orphanage to achieve a level of sustainability.
The progress of the facility since our initial visits is evident in their supply of chickens for eggs and meat along with the construction of a structure to house the animals. A field is plowed by hand for the planting of a garden. It was our joy to purchase a gas powered generator for the orphanage, and it is our hope to help the orphanage obtain modern kitchen equipment for cooking and cleaning.
