Vision Africa Radio

After years of dedication to the vision and support from so many, Vision Africa Radio is on the air.

Millions of Nigerians can now hear “The Real Love Station, Sharing God’s Love” on LOVE 104.1 FM.

The only private radio station for hundreds of miles around, Vision Africa Radio broadcasts educational, spiritual, and inspirational programming to the people of southern Nigeria.

The sounds of “Amazing Grace” carried Vision Africa Radio on the air for the very first time on December 7, 2004. Powered by a tiny 250-watt transmitter, LOVE 104.1 was available to over 250,000 Nigerians.

Through the generosity of donors, we soon installed a new 2000 watt transmitter which enables us to reach millions more with an edifying alternative to the government-run radio networks.

What a joy to celebrate the awesome miracle of spreading God's love to so many new people and in such a powerful way. Please pray that this station will be a channel through which millions of African people will receive many blessings, for the staff which makes each broadcast possible, and for the continuing support needed to allow this wonderful work to continue.

The Abia State Government of Nigeria erected a 4,000 square foot building for the station as a way of encouraging Vision Africa to start this pilot program. The station received invaluable technical support from HCJB World Radio and programming support from Christian radio station KSBJ-Houston.

The station is staffed by dedicated Nigerian professionals. More than 100 volunteers support the daily operations of running the station from producing programs to following up with listeners’ inquiries.
